Kyle started Kindergarten yesterday! We walked him in yesterday but today, he was totally fine with me dropping him off curbside AND was thrilled yesterday when I told him he could buy his lunch if he wanted to. He was so ecstatic about that! So today he went in without me, bought his own lunch, and I hope he found his cool new shark lunchbag he lost yesterday. Yes, Day One and already lost something.

I'm loving my time with Makenna--she's earned mommy-time! We snuggled on the sofa this morning cuddling and smooching--it was heavenly for both of us. All that alone-time, just my girl and me. Oh, and she had to give the baby in my tummy a few good kisses too.

The pictures were taken right before my battery died, and he was showing off his backpack. Oh well--we'll try another day for a front-picture! ...
