First Day of First Grade!

Kyle told me he woke up last night at 3, 4, and again at 6. Do you think he was eager to start the day? He told me he didn't want to go back to school but I know better. He is in that "I'm too cool for school" phase! We've told him if he wants to go to college and then be a professional soccer player, which is his plan, then he must go to elementary school first. I'm about to go pick him up from his first day in 1st grade! Surreal to walk past his old Kindergarten classroom and see his sweet teacher, Mrs. Ybarra. It seems just a few days ago we were starting Kindergarten and a year has flown by! And to think in one year, Makenna will start school. Until then, I'll just enjoy her and the baby while brother is busy at school.

Kinsley Is Growing too Fast!!!

If you're on facebook, then you see weekly pics of Miss Kinsley. So it has been 'forever' since I posted on my blog. I must say that facebook is nearly replacing blogging for me since it is so fast to post from my smart phone and take pictures from it and post them. But I know a few of year still use the old dinosaur called a home PC--Ha! How crazy is it that my smart phone is faster and more efficient than my PC which is just a few years 'old.' Good grief. I think in about 20 years, we will find all technology obsolete as we communicate telepathically! Enjoy our little Kinsley and see how she's changed. She's crawling, sitting up, grabbing for anything and everything, gesturing, and starting to eat rice cereal, even grabbing the spoon to feed herself! Can we say mizz independent already??? She is pulling up too already so I predict walking will happen before she turns one! She was six months old on August 8 and here we are almost to September. Where is the time going?
