Makenna started fall preschool today after a nine month break and she was more-than-ready! She has been so looking forward to using her Dora backpack from last year and her new monkey lunch box. She told me when I picked her up, referring to her teacher, "I was nice to she." I think she mentioned her friends at school in her bedtime prayer tonight, but it sounded like babbling (I'm sure the Holy Spirit knew), but then she ended the prayer with, "Jesus, see you soon. Will you be coming to my house soon?" I couldn't help but think of Zacchaeus. Then she giggled at herself and said 'amen.' Good way to end the day.
